동화를 활용한 역할극이 사회적 위축아의 자기표출에 미치는 영향 = (The)influence of role play using fairytales on the self-disclosure of socially withdrawn children

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 동화를 활용한 역할극이 사회적 위축아들의 위축정도와 자기표출의 양에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 역할극으로 인한 자기표출과 행동의 변화 과정을 질적으로 밝히는데 있다.
연구 설계에서 연구 대상은 G유치원에 다니는 유아들에게 위축척도와 사회적 상호작용 평정 척도를 실시하여 교사가 위축 정도를 평정한 후 선별한 6명이다. 동화를 활용한 역할극의 효과를 알아보기 위하여 역할극 경험 후 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 또한 동화를 활용한 역할극 경험 후 사회적 위축아의 자기표출 양을 문장수와 정서적 단어수로 구분하여 회기별 비교하였으며, 위축의 정도와 표출 양의 양적 변화를 지지하기 위해 질적으로 분석하였다.
본 연구의 결과에 의하면 동화를 활용한 역할극 경험을 통해 사회적 위축아들의 위축 정도가 감소하였고, 사회적 상호작용 능력의 향상을 보였다. 그리고 표출 문장 수와 정서적 단어 수는 역할극 경험전 보다는 역할극 경험후 전체적으로 높은 변화를 보였지만, 성별에 따른 표출 문장수와 정서적 단어 수의 차이는 의의가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회적 위축아들의 자기표출과 행동의 변화의 질적 과정에서도 긍정적인 방향으로 변화를 보였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analyzed the degree to which role play using fairy tales improved the self-disclosure skills of socially withdrawn children, and attempted to prove the changes in the behavior of socially withdrawn children wrought by role playing.
The subjects of this study were 6 children from the G Kindergarten. These children were selected based on the degree to which they were socially withdrawn and interaction test results. In order to verify the effect of role play using fairytales, the researcher implemented a follow-up test after having let the children take part in role playing activities. In addition, the degree of self-disclosure of the children was analyzed on a quarterly basis by analyzing the number of sentences and emotional words spoken by these children during after having experienced role play using fairytales. A qualitative analysis was carried out to confirm the quantitative changes which took place in terms of socially withdrawn children's degree of self-disclosure.
This study found that the degree to which these children were socially withdrawn decreased as a result of their experience with role play using fairy tales, and that their ability to engage in social interaction also improved. Although the number of self-disclosing sentences and emotional words spoken by the children generally increased after their experience with role play, no significant gender difference was uncovered in terms of the number of self-disclosing sentences and emotional words used by the children. In addition, the qualitative analysis of the socially withdrawn children revealed positive changes with regards to their degree of self-disclosure and behavioral changes.
