에코세대의 스마트홈 특성가치가 이용만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 = A Study on Influence of Trait Values over User Satisfaction of Echo-Boomer Living with Smart-Home

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Echo-Boomers, accounting for twenty percent of South Korea’s population, have experienced social, economic and technological change, and have embraced the Internet and ‘Smartization’ trend much more than previous generations such as Baby-Boomers and second Baby-Boomers. Accordingly, it is generally accepted through various studies that the Echo-Boomers have characteristics differing from those of previous generations. Nowadays, Echo-Boomers who have embraced the trend toward ‘Smartization’, are entering the housing market due to employment and marriage. In this context, a systematic study analyzing Echo-boomers`` acceptance of ‘Smart Homes’ (new residential culture created by the integration of ICT and housing) is needed. Moreover, it is necessary to develop a strategy to enhance the utility and competitiveness of Smart Homes. This study uses the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) and structural equation model to investigate trait values affecting Echo-Boomers`` decision to live in Smart Homes and to determine relationships among the trait values. The results of this study suggest that each of the trait values provided by Smart Homes including convenience, safety, economic feasibility and comfort have significant influence on Echo-Boomers’ user satisfaction of Smart Homes. It is hoped that this study will contribute to improvements in living conditions by suggesting improvements in the Smart Home residential environment for Echo-Boomers and that related enterprises will try to reflect user needs in their products.
