This study examined the mediating effect of childcare teachers’ organizational commitment on the effect of perceived organizational fairness on empowerment. To this end, 217 childcare teachers working at daycare centers in City S and Province K were surveyed, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 23.0. Our main findings are as follows. First, as the age and career of childcare teachers increased, empowerment and organizational commitment tended to increase. Second, there was a significant positive correlation between organizational fairness, empowerment, and organizational commitment. Third, organizational fairness had a significant impact on empowerment through organizational commitment. The results confirmed that the organizational fairness of daycare centers and the organizational commitment of childcare teachers are important for promoting their empowerment. Based on this, it is meaningful to provide basic data to increase childcare teachers’ organizational commitment of so as to improve their empowerment.
