This paper is to make a metaphorical analysis of Korean political speeches. After giving a brief introduction to Framing Theory proposed by George Lakoff, the author analyzes the conceptual metaphor, surface and deep frames in two speeches delivered by Moon Jae in and Yoon Suk yeol. It is found that: Similar Metaphors such as JOURNEY, BARRIER were both used in Moon's and Yoon's speeches; The former focused more on the initiative of Korea and to play a leading role on the international stage while the latter emphasized more about Korea to contribute as the member of the international community. On the basis of the analysis this paper summarizes the Metaphorical Framing Model of Korean political speeches from the perspective of construction.
