언어학습에서 창의적 글쓰기와 영화매체의 효용성 = A Study on Efficiency of Film in Language Learning and Creative Writing

국문 초록 (Abstract)

영화를 매체로 활용한 수업의 효용성은 학생들의 흥미를 유발하여 적극적으로 참여하게 하는 데 있다. 그러나 이러한 적극적 참여를 어떻게 수업에서 활용하느냐의 문제가 본 연구의 목적이다. 매체활용은 언어학습의 한 방법으로 ``듣기, 말하기, 글쓰기``의 교육을 가능하게 한다. 그리고 ``듣기, 말하기, 글쓰기`` 영역에서 갖가지 매체를 교육의 대상으로 수용하는 것은 언어교육의 대상영역이 광고, 영화, 비디오, 인터넷, 컴퓨터 통신, 방송, 신문, 잡지 등 멀티매체로 다양해졌음을 뜻한다. 이 가운데 영화는 언어학습의 매체로서 창의적 글쓰기를 가능하게 하는 유용한 방법 가운데 하나이다. 특히 영화는 다른 문자텍스트와 달리 영상언어이므로 문자언어보다 이해가 용이하며, 통합적 언어능력을 가르칠 수 있다는 점에서 교육적 성과가 높다. 그리고 가상현실로서 일반적인 의사소통상황은 물론 주제를 쉽게 파악할 수 있어 학습자가 적극적으로 참여하는 능동적인 수업을 이끌 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The efficiency of the class through films is that it can stimulate students` interest that helps students participate actively in classes. In conventional classes, a text is taught in the order of ``listening-reading-speaking-explanation`` so that it has its limitation in promoting students` motivation. However, multi-media itself can arouse their participation motivation. Furthermore, students can understand what they are learning through video even without any teacher`s explanation, and they can actively improve their learning ability. Language education through media is effective for the second language acquisition, and it makes ``listening, speaking, writing`` education available. The 6th curriculum was focused on phonetics of the language and its features as the target of the Korean education, and the 7th curriculum was focused on the medium language in ``listening, speaking, writing``. Therefore, we should notice that the target of the Korean education has broaden to multimedia such as advertisements, films, videos, internet, communication media, broadcastings, newspapers, and magazines. The film is one of the useful media in language education, and they will help teach creative writings. Especially, the film has images that students can easily understand its contents better than in written language. Moreover, the film is worth applying to the class because it can help students acquire an integrated level of language proficiency.
