Congenital bronchoesophageal fistula is a rare anomaly that may go undiagnosed for many years. The diagnosis of this condition may be difficult due to its insidious clinical course. We present the case of a 54 years old man with a history of a coughing after drinking fluids and multiple pneumonias. The fistula was resected with reinforcement of a mediastinal pleura. Following that, associated diseased right middle and lower lobe were resected.
