치유된 대상포진 부위에 발생한 판상건선: Wolf ’s Isotopic Response = Plaque Psoriasis Developed at the Site of Healed Herpes Zoster: Wolf’s Isotopic Response

Wolf’s isotopic response (WIR) refers to the occurrence of a new skin disorder at the exact site of another unrelated skin disease that had previously healed. Until recently, controversy has surrounded the definitions of WIR and isomorphic response – also known as the Köebner phenomenon–which describes the development of the same disease at a site with damaged skin.
A 37‑year‑old female who had suffered from herpes zoster 5 months ago presented with a rash that had been present for the preceding 4 months, over the healed lesions of herpes zoster, corresponding to the right thoracic dermatomes T9– T10. Physical examination showed multiple erythematous scaly plaques over the right trunk. Histopathologically, it was consistent with psoriasis, and there was no evidence of herpetic cytopathologic changes. The patient received treatment with topical calcipotriol/betamethasone and methotrexate and nearly complete improvement was seen after 2 months.
