독서 이론의 동향과 독서교육 지원 시스템의 방향 = The rescent tendency of reading research and the direction of support system for reading education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

독서는 독자와 책(필자)의 상호작용이다． 독자는 책을 읽으면서 책 속의 지식과 자신의 지식을 연결시켜 사고하고 찬성하거나 반대하며， 확장된 사고를 펼치거나 상상의 나래를 펼치게 된다． 독서는 의미구성과정이다． 독서는 글에 제시되어 있는 정보와 독자 자신의 배경 지식을 결합하여 글 전체의 의미를 구성하는 과정이다. 독서는 여러 가지 복잡한 문제를 해결하는 지적 활동이다． 현대 사회는 비판적 문식성 능력을 가지고 있는 사람을 요구한다． 비판적 읽기 능력은 단순히 지식을 아는 것이 아니라 그 지식을 가지고 어떤 것을 할 수 있음을 말한다． 독서 발달 연구는 아동의 발달 시기에 따라 무엇을 가르쳐야 하며， 어떤 자료를 가지고， 어떤 내용을， 어떤 방법으로 가르쳐야 하는지에 대한 정보를 제공한다． 이와 같은 독서이론의 동향을 바탕으로 독서지도의 방향을 설정해야 한다． 학생들이 읽을 권장도서도 다양한 방법으로 선정되어야 하며， 그들 스스로 읽고 싶은 책， 자신의 능력에 맞는 책도 읽을 수 있도록 해야 한다． 학생들은 특히 학교 공부에 매달려 독서할 시간이 없으므로 학교에서 일정한 시간의 독서 시간을 확보해 주어야 한다． 독서 동기 부여를 위해서는 재미있는 다양한 독후 활동이 이루어질 수 있도록 해야 하며， 교과학습과 연계된 독서지도， 책읽기의 감동을 통하여 자연스럽게 청소년 문제를 해결 해 줄 수 있는 독서 지도가 되어야 한다． 이런 독서지도가 체계적이고 효율적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 학교에 독서 전담 부서가 설치될 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Reading is the interaction between the reader and the book. Reader think, agree, oppose and imagine deeply or widely during reading the books. Reading is the process of meaning construction. That is, reading is the process of constructing meaning by connecting between the reader's own background knowledge and the content of books. Reading is the process of solving various complicated problems. The contemporary society need the person that has critical literacy. the critical literacy ability is not the person that know the knowledge simply but the person that do something with it. The research of reading development say about what to teach, how to teach with what kind of materials by developmental stage of children. We must establish the direction and the approaches of reading teaching. The books for students have to be selected with various methods and they should choose books for them to read and to be appropriate to them with themselves. The time to read the books should be given to students in the school. We must teach reading with the various after-reading activities, with the approaches related to content area reading and young adult problems.
