Since ancient time, as a neighboring country, South Korea and China have a close relationship. China and South Korea established diplomatic relations in August 1992. In May 1998, South Korea designated Chinese travel abroad in the free areas. Especially, after the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, domestic liberalization of the overseas travel stepped higher. In addition, the strategic cooperative partner relationship between the two countries in the future bilateral cooperation of the government, transportation, growth, sharing of culture, living standards will be strengthened due to the increase, with this sightseeing, the Chinese tourism market will advance quickly. In order to understand the purpose why Chinese tourists go sightseeing in Korea, and according to the characteristics of tourists, how the difference between motivation and satisfaction for the tourism, and how is the satisfaction of tourism in Korea, this article according to the characteristics of the Chinese tourists, for the study area in South Korea, discusses how is the affect of motivation and satisfaction.
First, the existing literature for this study abroad for a book, paper, online articles, other publications and utilized more Chinese tourists to visit South Korea on a questionnaire survey using the empirical method. It also utilized SPSS 17.0 statistical analysis usingthe frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, regression analysis method.
Based on these results, the followings were concluded.
First, according to the demographic characteristics (marital status), the result of the analysis between the difference of the tourists motivation of the tourists who visit South Korea has a conspicuous significant difference.
Second, according to the demographic characteristics, the result of the analysis of the difference of the tourist satisfaction of the tourists who visit South Korea dose not have a conspicuous significant difference.
Third, according to the travel action properties, the result of the analysis of the difference of thetourist motivation of the tourist who visit South Korea has a conspicuous significant difference.
Fourth, according to the travel action properties, the result of theanalysis of the difference of the tourist satisfaction of the tourist who visit South Korea has a conspicuous significant difference.
Finally, the travel motivation of the tourist who visit South Korea has a some influence on the tourist satisfaction.
For the purpose of the promotion of the South Korea's tourism and increasing the number of the Chinese tourists, the enlightening followings which are proposed to do are the results of the Chinese tourists' satisfaction.
First, Travel company and air company have an important influence on the source of the travel datas. Therefore, in order to increase the number of the Chinese tourists, it is significant to arrange the specific travel companys to publicize the tourism of South Korea more often.
Second, it is not convenient for Chinese tourists when they go sightseeing in Korea that they cannot speak Korea and cannot recognize the right marks. In order to make thesituation lower, it is important to creat a condition that tourists can understand Korean culture easily.
Third, In order to increase the number of the Chinese tourists, it is important to publicize the tourism of South Korea actively and form an active strategy.
In this study, the characteristics of Chinese tourists who visited South Korea a tourist motivations and impact on tourist satisfaction about the empirical results of the investigation was to study the critical point is as follows.
The study objects of this article are only in terms of Chinese tourists who visit South Korea, the other foreign tourists are not considered. In addition, the time of the investigation is from the end of April to the beginning of May, during this time it cannot obtain the whole travel action properties of the tourists.
Therefore, in future studies, as well as Chinese tourists, including foreign tourists of other nationalities will need to be investigated . In addition, the theory of the travel motivation and travel satisfaction need to be further study.
