아동기에서 청소년기 전환기동안 아동의 학대경험과 비행행동에 대한 잠재계층 간 관계 = A Study on the Relationship between Latent Classes of Child Maltreatment and Delinquency in the Transition from Childhood to Adolescence

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 아동기후기에서부터 청소년기초기동안 아동의 학대경험과 비행행동 간의 관계를 설명하고자 하였다. 서울아동패널조사에 응답한 1,673명을 대상으로 잠재계층성장모형을 분석한 결과 이 시기에 아동학대 발달궤적은 3개의 하위유형 즉, ‘학대증가(6.6%)’, ‘학대감소(6.6%)’, ‘비학대(86.4%)’ 계층으로 구분할 수 있었다. 비행행동 가운데 지위비행의 발달궤적은 ‘비행증가(6.9%)’, ‘비행감소(7.6%)’, ‘비비행(85.5%)’ 계층으로 구분되었으며, 범죄비행의 경우는 ‘비행증가(3.2%)’와 ‘비비행(96.8%)’ 두 개 계층으로 발달궤적이 구분되었다. 아동학대와 비행행동 잠재계층 간의 전이확률을 살펴본 결과, ‘학대증가’ 계층은 다른 계층에 비해 지위비행과 범죄비행이 모두 증가하는 계층에 속할 전이확률이 더 높았다. 이 연구에서는 아동학대와 비행행동에 있어서 높은 위험에 처한 잠재계층을 실증적으로 규명하고, 이들 간의 인과관계를 보다 명확하게 설명하였다는 측면에서 의의를 갖는다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between latent classes of child maltreatment and delinquency from childhood to adolescence. There were 1,673 participants in a sample from Seoul Panel Study of Children. Using the latent class growth model, three developmental trajectories of child maltreatment were identified：‘increasing maltreatment (6.6%)', ‘decreasing maltreatment (6.6%)' and ‘no maltreatment (86.4%)'. Three developmental trajectories of adolescent status offenses were classified：‘increasing delinquency (6.9%)', ‘decreasing delinquency (7.6%)' and ‘no delinquency (85.5%)'. And two developmental trajectories of criminal behavior were found：‘increasing criminal behavior (3.2%)' and ‘no criminal behavior (96.8%)'. As estimated by latent transition probability, the increasing maltreatment class was more likely to have a high level of delinquency than any other class. This research identified high risk class of abused children and estimated the casual relationship between child maltreatment and delinquency empirically.
