Local governments across the country select and support industries appropriate to the industrial conditions and regional economic conditions of each region. In Chungnam, the bio industry, display industry, and automobile parts industry are selected and supported as major industries. In this study, the magnitude of the job creation effect of these major industries in Chungnam is compared. As a result of the conducted analysis, it was found that the bio industry has the greatest effect. Specifically, an investment of 1 billion Korean Won corresponded to the creation of jobs for 5.2411 people in the bio industry, 2.7275 people in the display industry, and 2.1329 people in the automobile parts industry.
