      The purpose of this research is to seek the educational meaning and the development of future Taekwondo training, by analysis of the difference on the involvement, the sociality and the attitude of life of elementary school children according to various factors.
      To test this, taking the group of parents whose children are attending elementary schools, and training Taekwondo at the Taekwondo gyms located in the gyeonggi region as of 2007 as population, 400 parents were selected by means of random sampling method, and were asked to complete questionnaire. Having dropped the respondents who didn’t return the questionnaire and who failed to complete the instrument, 299 participants were finally selected as the subject of this research, and their responses were analyzed accordingly.
      The reliability of the questionnaire used in this research estimated by Cronbach Alpha was α = 0.837, α = 0.871 in sociality and way of life respectively showing comparatively a higher reliability. Specific analytical techniques used in the research were frequency analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, ScheffIJ post hoc test, and Bonferroni post hoc test.
      The results of this study are as follows:
      First, there were differences in the involvement period and frequency according to demographic characteristics of the elementary school children who train Taekwondo. But there were significant differences in the involvement period according to the school year grade than sex in viewpoint of the demographic characteristics. And the longer training period is needed in case they are the higher grade.
      Second, there were no differences in the sociality and the attitude of life according to the degree of participation of the elementary school children training Taekwondo.
      Third, there were no differences in the attitude of life for elementary school trainee. Children who have trained Taekwondo for a longer period of time revealed positive changes in the aspect of sociality.
