The special postposition in Korean language has a sort of its own meaning with an important grammatical morpheme. The accurate knowledge of the meaning of special postposition is thought to be a shorter way to put korean grammar to practical use.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of suffixes followed by conjugation of declinable words.
So in this thesis the special postpositions as [n?n, to, man] which are mostly used in everyday life with a solid function and meaning are limited as the scope of study, and made investigation into grammatical function and meaning function.
The conclusions of this study are following
Though connecting with suffixes -a, -ke, -ci, -ko and other special suffix is comparative free, it is restricted in the case of compound or determinative word formation. that seems to have meaningful relations with the elements of preceding and following suffixes -a, -ke, -ci, -ko.
Though subordinate connecting suffixes than coordinate ones are less restricted, there are no diacronic changes but the examples of special meaning.
The meaning -n?n is expressed "indication", and ti means "comparative" by using in the case of same sentence order. That is to be considered by-product meaning formed by conventional implication. It is also weaken in the connecting suffix, but it is expressed not only speaker's felling of missing or negative one which isn't achived but also the implication of affirmative achivement.
when the case maker -to is followed by conjugation of declinable words -a, -ke, -ci, -ko, itis the meaning "inclusion", and followed by subordinate connecting suffix, it means 'extreme" as well as "inclusion".
The case of -man compared with -to means its own meaning "restraint" followed even by adverbs or suffixes, because it has stronger annexing function.
