정원유전자를 활용한 건재고택의 고증복원연구 = A Study on the Restoration of Geonjae old House Garden Using Garden Genes

국문 초록 (Abstract)

아산 외암마을의 건재고택정원은 마을을 대표하는 설화산에서 비롯되는 마을의 풍수지리적 여건 및 마을을 관통하며 지나가는 인공물길 등과 더불어 마을의 경관을 구성하는 주요한 요소로서 역사적·학술적 가치를 함유하고 있으나, 오랜 시간을거치면서 유지되고 있는 부분도 있지만 많은 부분이 소실, 교란, 왜곡되고 있는 실정이다. 특히, 외암마을의 주요 가옥에는 전통정원이 조성되어 있었지만, 건재고택의 정원은 일제강점기에 일본양식의 정원이 조성되어 서로 다른 정원문화가 하나의 장소에 공존하는 곳이라고 할 수 있어, 근대 문화재로서의 가치가 상당히 높다고 할 수 있다. 본연구에서는 건재고택의 정원에 대한 유전자 분석을 통해 과거의 모습을 예측하고, 그 결과에 대한 고증복원을 통해 건재고택의 정원에 대한 복원계획을 수립하는 것이다. 또한, 문화재의 원형 복원에 있어 훼손은 최대한 지양하고, 문화재 보전관리의 용이함을 도모할 수 있는 방법을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 과거의 사진과의 대조 및 현장고증의 결과, 건재고택의 정원은 왜곡과 훼손이 반복되어 예전의모습과는 다른 형태를 갖고 있다는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 그리고, 유전자 분석을 통하여 과거의 모습을 재현할 수 있는 복원방법을 제시할 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Geonjae Old House Garden of Asan Oeam Village contains historical and academic values as amajor element of the village's landscape, along with the village's feng shui geographical conditions and artificialroads that pass through the village, which represent the village. Although some have been maintained over along period of time, many of them have been lost, disturbed, and distorted. The main houses of Oeam Villagehad traditional gardens, but the garden of the Geonjae Old House is a place where different garden culturescoexist in one place due to the creation of Japanese-style gardens in Japanese colonial era. This study predictsthe past through genetic analysis of the garden of the Geonjae Old House, and establishes a restoration plan forthe garden of the Geonjae Old House through historical restoration of the results. In addition, the purpose ofthis study is to suggest a way to avoid damage in restoring the original form of cultural properties as much aspossible and to facilitate the preservation and management of cultural properties. As a result of contrast withpast photographs and on-site evidence, it was found that the garden of the Geonjae Old House has a differentshape from its previous appearance due to repeated distortion and damage. In addition, it was possible tosuggest a restoration method that could reproduce the appearance of the past through genetic analysis.
