Collegate Students’ Experience and Changes: Applied Sport Education Model in Taekwondo Class

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구은 스포츠 교육모형 (Siedentop, Hastie, & van der Mars, 2004)을 적용한 대학 태권도수업에 대한 대학생들의 경험과 수용성을 이해하고 그 대학생들이 생각하는 스포츠 교육모형에 대한 지각이 어떻게 변화하였는지에 대해 연구하는데 목적이 있다. 총 46명의 대학생들이 스포츠교육모형이 적용된 15주 태권도수업에 참여하였다. 학생들의 경험과 스포츠교육모형에 대한 그들의 지각 그리고 그들이 인식하고 있는 자신의 기술향상을 측정하기 위해 수업관찰 및 공식/비공식적 인터뷰가 행해졌다. 연구의 자료들은 귀납적 분석을 통해 이루어졌으며 자료의 진실성을 평가하기 위해 동료검증 (member check)과 여러 자료를 이용한 삼각검증법(triangulation)이 이용되었다 (Lincoln & Guba, 1985; Patton, 1990). 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스포츠교육모형을 적용한 태권도수업은 학생들의 태권도의 대한 지식과 기술을 발달시켰다. 둘째, 스포츠교육모형이 적용된 태권도수업은 학생들의 활발한 과제참여를 북돋아 주었을 뿐 아니라 소속팀원들 간의 의사소통과 협력을 향상시키었다. 또한 학생들이 리더십의 경험할 수 있는 기회를 증진시켰다. 하지만 학생들은 스포츠교육모형을 적용하기까지 너무 많은 시간의 소비와 많은 준비가 필요하다는 것에 대해 유감을 표현하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 스포츠교육모형은 태권도수업 안에서 학생들의 참여를 높이고 팀원들이 긴밀히 협동 할 수 환경을 만들 수 있다는 이점을 가지고 있을 뿐 아니라 학생들의 학습증진과 즐거움을 느낄 수 있는 학습 환경을 만들 수 있다는 것을 밝혔다.
