기업의 융합기술 유형 및 제휴형태에 따른 사회적 효과 분석 = An Empirical Study on the Relationship Between the Convergence Technology of Domestic Firms and Social Contribution

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the convergence technology of domestic firms and social contribution. The summarized results of this study are as follows.
First, in the relationship between the types of convergence technology and social contribution, bio technology had a positive effect on social contribution. But, nano and information technology had no relationship with social contribution. Second, in the relationship between the way of cooperation for convergence technology and social contribution, the system of firm-academia and firm-government had a partially positive effect on social contribution. Third, in the cases of the types and cooperation for convergence technology, bio technology had a positive effect on the social contribution in all types of cooperation. In the information technology and mixed technology with others, there was no relationship among variables.
In conclusion, all the parties, government, academic institutions and firms, should pursue an aim to support convergence technology.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 기업이 영위하고 있는 융합기술에 대하여 어떠한 상황에서 기업의 융합기술이 사회적 기여에 가장 효과적인가를 분석하기 위해 국내 기업을 대상으로 실증분석을 실시하였다. 이를 위해, 기업의 융합기술 유형이 사회적 효과에 미치는 영향을 먼저 분석하고, 기업이 융합기술들을 제휴하는 형태가 사회적 효과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 최종적으로 기업의 융합기술 유형 및 제휴형태가 결합된 상황들을 각각 설정하여 사회적 효과와의 관련성을 분석 하였다.
분석 결과, 기업의 융합기술 유형별로는 바이오 융합기술의 경우 대부분 사회적 효과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 나노 융합기술의 경우에서는 사회적 효과와의 유의미한 관련성을 확인할 수 없었다. 기업의 융합기술 제휴형태별로는 기업-학계 및 기업-정부기관 간 융합기술 제휴가 이루어질 때 부분적으로 사회적 효과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 기업의 융합기술 유형 및 제휴형태가 결합된 상황별로 사회적 효과와의 관련성을 분석한 결과, 바이오 융합기술의 경우 모든 제휴형태가 사회적 효과에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤고, 나노 융합기술의 경우 기업-학계, 기업-정부기관 간 융합기술 제휴 시 사회적 효과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 정보통신 융합기술 및 이종 기술이 접목된 융합기술의 경우 제휴형태별로 사회적 효과와의 관련성은 확인되지 않았다.
본 연구결과의 정책적/제도적 시사점을 살펴보면, 바이오 융합기술에서 제휴형태별로 사회적 효과를 극대화시키기 위한 방안이 필요하며, 나노 융합기술에서는 기업 상호 간 제휴에 의한 사회적 기여를 보다 활성화시킬 수 있는 방안이 필요한 것으로 확인되었다. 그리고 정보통신 융합기술 및 이종 간 융합기술의 경우는 정부와 기업, 학계가 각각 긴밀한 협력을 통해 국내 융합기술 정착과 융합기술의 사회적 기여를 함께 활성화시키기 위한 방안이 필요하다.
