      This study is attempt to search the developmental condition of muscular strength and muscular power of Athletes, Physical education major, and the others. Andalso to analyze the correlation between thestrength andthe power.
      By utilizing the Inertia Ergometer and Universal ergometer, muscular power and muscular strength were measured in 18 subjects, sthletes 6, physical education maj or 6, others 6.
      The Inertia ergometer originally deviced by A. V. Hill in 1922., and also modi-fied by M. Ikai(1965) were used to measure the muscular power which consist of a heavy wheels mounted with ball-bearingon a firm fram stand, and to pull on a cable-tension fooked on inertia ergometer's wheels, and what connected to ink pen write Polygraph recording system. And the maximum musculra strength were me-asured by Universal ergometer.
      The results were as follows'
      1. Muscular strength
      Athletes;57. 67gs. Physical education major;54. 67kg, and others;41.83kg
      2. Muscular power
      1) Onequavellant mass 685.0kg
      Athletes;0.633Hp, Physical education major;0.572 Hp, Others; 0.358Hp.
      2) Equavellant mass 64.8kg
      Athletes;0.190Hp, Physical education major;0.165Hp, Others;0.072Hp.
      3) Equavellant mass 17.5kg
      Athleter;0.145 Hp, Physical education major;0.108 Hp, Others;0.056 Hp.
      3. Correlationship between the muscular strength and the muscular power.
      1) Musculr streng to muscular power onequavellant mass 685.0kg
      Athletes; r=0.978, physical education major; =0.984, Others; r=0.905
      2) Muscular strength to muscular power on equavellant mass 64.8kg
      Athletes; r=0.971, physical education major; r=0.968, Others; r=0.931
      3) Muscular strength to muscular poer on equavellant mass 17.5kg Athletes; r=0.952, physical education major: r=0.942, Others; r=0.909.
      For above all it can be conclude that the physical training may develop muscular strength and the muscular power and also that the muscular strength and the muscular power may be develop with-in high relationships.
