      Nowadays, due to the labor cost increase and intense competition among the construction industry, the pressure of decreasing workers is getting higher than the past. Thus, the development of construction automation is becoming an imperious demand. For this problem, automatic machine is a good solution. Among the variety of construction machines, dozers are one of major factors for solving the matter of decreasing labors, which can dramatically decrease the number of workers in the field and reduce the working time. After realizing automation, dozers can additionally reduce the labor cost. Therefore, there are quite a few related studies have been done.
      This thesis is how to realize the automatic control of a dozer blade. Kinematic analysis based on the simplified model of the dozer blade is studied. After that control simulation of the model is performed to verify the analysis using ADAMS and MATLAB/SIMULINK. The results of the analysis and verification can be used as a reference model for designing the optimized control system of a dozer blade.
