This study is an analysis survey on the music education of teachers`` perceptions, music instructional methods, facility and the environment for student with severe and profound mental retardation. It did a question investigation for the sixty music teacher of mental retarded schools and statistics it controlled. At a result, the music ability of the student with severe and profound mental retardation is inherent and developed with the acquired, and having the possibility of music education for joyful life, and to need improvement of the facility, environment, studying method for music education. The instructional method becomes group activity and individual activity, and it studies mainly middle group, but the student with severe and profound mental retardation participate to only an individual activity. Music teacher used mainly multimedia material, but the students participates negatively. So, to need amended materials, teaching methods for more positive participation. The musical instruments and materials sufficiency but, music classroom, facility, learning environment is insufficient.
