Total Quality Management(TQM) can be used practically as a strategic competitive method in the field of school administration as well as business administration. Thus TQM is being become a new trends of management strategy in school administration recently.
In these points, the purposes of this study are to search the major aspects of TQM, and to investigate component variables between school organizational effectiveness and TQM by comparison to effectiveness and quality.
This study comes out that major common variables between effectiveness and TQM have principal's leadership, total involvement, school climates, curriculum management, teacher's expectation, customer satisfaction, empowerment, professional development, communication and shared information, continuous quality improvement. Especially, Principal's leadership and total involvement are critical common variables between effectiveness and TQM, and to secure effectiveness and quality of schooling.
Thus, To investigate relationships among component variables related to school organizational effectiveness and TQM is very useful to understand the theoretic frame of schooling, and to build the integrated model of theoretical aspects for schooling.
