리더의 경험과 재임기간이 조직성과에 미치는 영향 : 국내 프로농구 감독 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 국내 프로농구 리그를 대상으로 구단의 리더라고 할 수 있는 감독의 경험과 재임기간이 조직의 성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고 있다. 나아가 이 과정에서 외국인 선수 영향력의 조절효과를 살펴봄으로써 조직성과를 높이기 위한 전략적 시사점을 도출하였다. 1990년부터 2021년까지의 데이터를 사용하여 분석한 결과에 의하면 감독의 경험과 재임기간은 조직성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있다. 또한 외국인 선수 영향력의 조절효과를 살펴본 결과 리더의 경험 및 재임기간과 조직성과 간의 정(+)의 관계는 외국인 선수의 영향력이 높을수록 강화되는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 국내 프로농구에서 감독의 경험과 재임기간이 조직의 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여준다. 그리 고 외국인 선수의 영향력이 클수록 이러한 관계가 강화되고 있다는 것은 감독의 역량과 외국인 선수의 영향력은 서로 보완적인 관계가 있다는 것을 의미한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study empirically analyzed the effects of manager’s experience and tenure as the leader of the domestic professional basketball league(KBL) on the organizational performance. Furthermore, by examining the moderating effect of the influence of foreign players in that process, strategic implications for enhancing team performance were derived. According to the results of analyses using data from 1990 to 2021, manager’s experience and tenure have a positive effects on organizational performance. Also, as results of examining the moderating effect of foreign players impact, the positive relationships between those variables were found to be strengthened as the influence of foreign players increased. These results show that manager’s experience and tenure in KBL have a positive effects on organizational performance. And the result that this relationship is being strengthened as the influence of the foreign player increases means that the manager's ability and the influence of the foreign players have a complementary relationship with each other.
