The author attempted to examine a possible re-emergence and the effect of genetic positivism in the field of comtemporary crime control. The biggest problem of genetic positivism is that it lacks empirical evidence when viewed from the post-modernist perspective. However, through the theoretical reassessment, the possible utilization of the positivist approach for crime control has regained support. This research investigated the dichotomy between those who cannot be governed and those who can be controlled, and explored ways to integrate and manage them under one system in the most secure manner. Specifically, the Genome Project, with its basis on behavioral science with the capability to predict the risks related to and manage human behavior, was presented as a possible measure for a scientific innovation to promote the safe integration of society. In the end, the author discussed possible policy implementations in the field of crime and disorder control with the results obtained from revisiting genetic positivism.
