Ship Mooring Fittings is a device for safe anchoring and unloading and of ship. Since the loss of structural safety of ship mooring fittings can lead to major maritime accidents, several classification and standards associations are working to standardize the design of safe mooring fittings. Structural safety of ship’s mooring fittings is generally reviewed by structural analysis for design safety. However, due to the large size ships and various types of mooring fittings, it requires a lot of time and cost for numerical analysis. In this study, the structural analysis was used to obtain structural strength performance evaluation data for various types of ship mooring fittings, and the neural network algorithm was used to study the relationship between the structural strength performance and the design specifications of mooring fittings. Using the neural network algorithm, the structural strength performance learning model of ship mooring fittings was developed and the methods to predict the structural strength performance of mooring fittings without separate numerical model generation and structural analysis were explored.
