In this study, 1 focus on analysing the reality of Club-activity which is operated in school through the Sixth Education Reform and looking for the way of improvement to achieve education for the whole man.
I used several methods to get the results :
First, 1 made the study models which were divided the Club-activity into five areas.
Second, 1 analysed comparatively the reality of Club-activity to operate in middle school and high school. Also I researched the difference between the urban and rural community.
Third, 1 tried to find out the way of improvement on the basis of the anaysis results,
To summarize the important problems which were showed through the analysis.
1) Teachers don't act positively and satisfy as guide teachers even though they agree to Club activity for the education purpose.
2) Club activity is led by teachers and the students don't participate positively.
3) School education emphasis on the cramming education for the entrance examination. Their Club-activity is operated formally and the participation of students is low.
4) The guide teachers don't prepare Club-activity throughly in spite of the lack of teachers'leadership.
5) The facilities, supplies, and supports which are needed to do Club-activity are short.
6) The valuation of Club-activity doesn't get accomplished
The study shows that school education doesn't operate well and just emphasis on entrance examination in despite of advocating education revolution. The Sixth Education Reform intensify cooperation and service besides operation of Club-activity to improve problem of school.
I make several suggestions on the basis of the above problems:
1) Though the teachers perfectly perceive the necessity of the Club-activity, they show deep concern at the current plan of the operation. Therefore a system of the entrance examination and the educational curriculum demands revolutionary reform.
2) With the students'various desire and the current change, the students are the first consideration in organizing post of the Club-activity and it must flexibly be organized considering the trait of the community, the real condition of school.
3) All activity should accompany the students to be succeed Club-activity. We should deeply confer with the students in advance about all activity - a plan, operation, arrangement of data. While we have a great esteem for the students'voluntariness, we must lead them to have positive part in Club-activity with their hobby and interest.
4) Because a training plan and studying method of the guiding teacher is out of date and they have limit of teaching ability, independent of the leading teacher, we must lift of the Club-activity for the abundant personal resource of the district and parents of students to be elected a part timer or an honorary teacher.
5) We shall have consideration to extend its regular time and assist in administrative, financial personal invest positively.
6) We will operate and plan the Club activity for its qualitative improvement and estimate synthetically all the curriculum to be produced an outcome. So there is need to develop scientific and objective criteria or estimative method. Not only the teacher in charge but all the teacher related the activity should synthetically estimate them.
When the above problems is improved, the students will be raised of up the character and quality through the Club-activity. Also we will lift up them as the well rounded person contributed society and state through physical and mental development.
