      The purpose of this study was to grasp the changes of teaching practice in childcare teachers who experienced internal self-supervision and the educational significance of such changes. For this purpose, the researcher conducted internal self-supervision on nine childcare teachers from August 2016 to February 2018. Data were collected using nonparticipation observation, group interviews, journal writing, and other methods, which were analyzed according to the general procedure of qualitative research.
      The results of this study are summarized as follows.
      First, it was analyzed that the teachers who participated internal self-supervision in this study experienced positive changes in the class planning and preparation stage. All teachers showed that infant-centeredness was established in the selection of class topics. And six teachers showed that the clarity of the class objectives setting was strengthened.
      Second, it was analyzed that the teachers who participated internal self-supervision in this study experienced the biggest change in the class implementation stage. Six teachers showed that they had a combined improvement in teaching ability. Next, all teachers showed improved ability to interact with infants. And six teachers showed that the ability to induce motivation and interest in bringing attention to infants in class was improved. In addition, six teachers showed improved ability to induce voluntary participation of infants. On the other hand, all teachers showed improved ability to teach infants individually. And five teachers showed an increase in the use of exemplary teaching terminology. Finally, all the teachers showed that the effectiveness on utilization of teaching materials was increased.
      Third, it was analyzed that the teachers who participated internal self-supervision in this study experienced positive changes in the class evaluation and correction stage. All teachers were found to have had more intense self-reflective thinking in teacher evaluation. And three teachers were found to have become proficient at the class correction stage.
      Fourth, the change in teachers' teaching practice in this study has educational and social significance. Teacher capacity has been greatly strengthened at the educational aspect. The strengthening of the capacity of teachers will help to improve the quality of childcare. And it can help to eradicate child abuse problem by improving relationship between teacher and child at the social aspect. I think that the deep relationship between teachers and children will be of great help in reducing the abuse cases of infants and young children in childcare facilities, which have soared recently.
