This study aims to investigate the management and utilization of architectural assets and the need for improving perceptions based on the revitalization plan established in the Northseong-ro area of Jung-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City, which was a urban regeneration project utilizing architectural assets. Through interviews with stakeholders from the Jung-gu Urban Regeneration Support Center and residents of the project area, current issues and concerns regarding the project were identified. Through this process, the importance of architectural assets and the actual progress of the plan were examined. In conclusion, it was found that the revitalization plan was established based on a basic legal investigation without additional indicators for architectural assets. Furthermore, it was pointed out that a flexible project duration is
necessary because the initial plan was not fully executed within the project period. In the future, interviews will be conducted with officials from Jung-gu Office in Daegu Metropolitan City and researchers who participated in the project to confirm differences in perception regarding the establishment of urban regeneration projects utilizing architectural assets.
