감성디자인 측면으로 본 레트로디자인의 특성에 관한 연구 = A study on the Characteristics of Retro Design in terms of Emotional Design

국문 초록 (Abstract)

첨단 기술 중심의 디자인이 새로운 경험과 가치를 제공하기 위해서는 소비자를 설득할 만한 감성과 경험을 제공하는 것이 필요하다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 레트로디자인을 이해하고 감성디자인과 관련된 특성과 그 의미를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 레트로의 정의와 감성디자인과의 관계를 문헌 연구를 통해 고찰하였으며, 레트로디자인을 지속적 레트로와 재해석 레트로 2가지로 분류하여 연구를 진행하였다. 레트로디자인의 분류를 감성디자인의 3가지 단계와 비교하여 구조적으로 구성하고, 구조에 따라 나타나는 사례를 바탕으로 레트로디자인의 특징을 시각을 기반으로 하는 형태적, 행동을 기반으로 하는 유희적, 의미를 기반으로 하는 가치적 감성 3가지로 나누어 구성하고 각각의 의미와 구조를 확인하였다. 레트로디자인을 단순한 유행으로서가 아니라 분류를 통한 특징을 통해 분석을 시도하였다는 것에 연구의 의의가 있다고 할 수 있으며, 본 연구를 통해 레트로디자인의 새로운 관점을 확인하고자 하는 연구자들에게 기반 연구로서의 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to understand retro design and identify the characteristics and meanings related to emotional design. For this purpose, the definition of Retro and its relationship with emotional design were examined through literature research, and Retro Design was classified into two types, Sustainable Retro and Reinterpretation Retro. Through the analysis of the classification of retro design, We structurally organized the two classifications of retro design by comparing them with the three stages of emotional design, and based on the cases that appear according to the structure, we organized the features of retro design into three types of emotions: formal, which is based on vision, meaningful, which is based on behavior, and value, which is based on meaning, and identified the meaning of each. We hope that this study will help researchers who want to identify new perspectives of retro design as a basic research.
