‘한글 놀이마당’에 관한 현장적합성 검토 의견과 반영 양상 = Opinions on the on-site suitability review of the ‘Hangeul Playground’ and aspects of reflection

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 1학년 국어 교과서의 ‘한글 놀이마당’에 관하여 학교 현장 교사들로 구성된 현장적합성 지원단의 검토 의견을 살펴보고, 그 의견이 교과서 최종본에는 어떻게 반영되었는지를 살펴보았다.
교과서 검토 기준으로 제시된 5가지의 검토 기준 범주 중 ‘내용의 정확성 및 적합성’에 관한 현장적합성 검토 의견이 38.2%로 가장 많았다. 한글 놀이마당은 글자 놀이, 모음자 놀이, 자음자 놀이로 구성되어 있는데 현장적합성 검토 의견이 가장 많은 것은 ‘글자 놀이(41.4%)’였다.
현장적합성 검토 지원단이 제시한 의견은 교과서 최종본에 반영되기도 하고 미반영되기도 하였다. 편찬기관에서 현장적합성 검토 지원단의 의견에 관하여 ‘미반영’으로 결론을 내릴 경우, 이와 관련된 내용을 현장적합성 검토 지원단과 공유하는 과정이 추가로 진행될 필요가 있다.
본 연구가 현장적합성 검토 지원단이 제시한 의견 자료만을 바탕으로 논의를 진행한 점은 한계가 있지만, ‘한글 놀이마당’에 관한 현장적합성 검토 지원단의 의견을 살펴볼 수 있었다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 추후 편찬기관 집필진과의 면담 등을 통해 국정도서의 현장적합성 검토 과정을 면밀히 살펴보는 연구와 초등학교 1학년 국어 교과서의 특화 단원인 ‘한글 놀이마당’이 학교 현장에서 어떻게 적용되고 활용되는지에 관한 연구가 진행될 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the review opinions of the field suitability support group consisting of school teachers regarding the ‘Hangeul Playground’ in the first grade Korean language textbook according to the revised 2022 Korean language curriculum, and examined how those opinions were reflected in the final version of the textbook.
Among the five review criteria categories presented as textbook review criteria, the field suitability review opinions regarding ‘accuracy and suitability of content’ were the most numerous at 38.2%. Hangeul Playground consists of letter play, vowel play, and consonant play, and the field suitability review opinion with the most was ‘letter play (41.4%).
The opinions presented by the field suitability review support group were sometimes reflected in the final version of the textbook and sometimes not. If the compilation agency concludes that the field suitability review support group’s opinions are ‘not reflected,’ an additional process needs to be conducted to share related information with the field suitability review support group.
This study has limitations in that it only discussed the opinions provided by the field suitability review support team, but it is meaningful in that it was able to examine the opinions of the field suitability review support team regarding ‘Hangeul Playground.’ In the future, it is necessary to conduct a study that closely examines the field suitability review process of national textbooks through interviews with the writing staff of the compilation agency, and to conduct a study on how ‘Hangeul Playground,’ a specialized unit of the first-grade elementary school Korean language textbook, is applied and utilized in the school field.
