웨스트민스터 신앙고백서 구원서정의 유기적 모티프: 유기적 연결성, 통일성과 다양성 = The Organic Motif of the Ordo Salutis in the Westminster Confession of Faith: Organic Connectivity, Unity and Diversity

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 웨스트민스터 신앙고백서의 구원서정을 에글린튼의 통일성과 다양성 그리고 바빙크의 문장에서 가져온 유기적 연결성으로 논의한 소논문이다. 통일성과 다양성 그리고 유기적 연결성은 구원서정의 각각의 사건들이 어떠한 상호 유기적 관계성을 갖는지 드러내 준다. 이를 연구를 통해 세 가지 결론에 도달한다.
첫째, 삼위 하나님의 구원선택, 구원성취, 구원적용에서 각 위격의 사역에서, 통일성을 드러내는 “선택의 불변성”에 의해 유기적 연속성이 나타난다.
둘째, 구원서정에서도 구원 적용자이신 성령 하나님의 사역으로 인해 유효한 부르심, 칭의, 양자됨, 성화, 견인, 선행에서 “선택의 불변성”이 나타난다는 것이다. 또한 구원을 이루어가는 택자에게 성령 하나님의 내주하심이 선택의 불변성과 구원의 확실성이 보증된다.
셋째, 통일성과 다양성 안에서 구원서정 사건들에는 다양한 유기적 연결성을 갖고 있다는 것을 확인 할 수 있다. 곧 구원서정의 유기적 연결성에는 믿음이라는 매개체를 통해 유기적 관계성을 형성하고 유기적 관계성은 다양한 유기적 연속성으로 나타난다. 선택의 불변성과 성령의 다양한 구원서정 사건들은 충돌 없이 상호 유기적으로 연결되어 구원을 이루어간다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is a scholarly note discussing the Westminster Confession of Faith's Ordo Salutis through Eglinton's concepts of unity and diversity, and Bavinck's notion of organic connectivity. Organic connectivity, Unity and diversity reveal how each event within the Ordo Salutis has interrelated Organic relationality. This research leads to three conclusions.
First, in the divine election, redemption accomplished, and salvation applied by the Triune God, the organic continuity is manifested through "The Immutability of Election", which signifies unity in the works of each person of the Triune God.
Second, in the Ordo Salutis, the Immutability of Election is manifested in effectual calling, justification, adoption, sanctification, perseverance, and good works through the work of the Holy Spirit, the applier of salvation. Moreover, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the elect guarantees the Immutability of Election and the Certainty of Salvation for those who are being saved.
Third, it is confirmed that unity and diversity reflect various Organic connectivities within the events of the Ordo Salutis. The Organic connectivity in the Ordo Salutis forms Organic relationality through the medium of faith, which in turn manifests as various forms of Organic continuity. The Immutability of Election and the various events of the Ordo Salutis administered by the Holy Spirit are interconnected without conflict, progressing towards salvation.
