Such beliefs as Knowledge is discrete and unambiguous.” Ability to learn is innate, Learning is quick or not at all. and Knowledge is certain. that learners hold might influence the manner how to approach and what to learn the reading tasks and materials. The epistemological beliefs about reading, e.g. transmissional model, transformational model or transactional model that teachers hold might influence the methods of reading instruction as well. During the staff development program to improve the instructional practice in reading, the epistemological beliefs of reading staffs as learners should be considered as an important factor. Also, further research should be proceeded strongly to determine the ways in which cultural and social factors influence teachers`` beliefs about reading.
