논문 : 주민중심적 커뮤니티 공간으로의 집합주거단지 외부 공간 활용 방향에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Use of the Outdoor Place of a Residence Complex as a Resident-centered Community Space

국문 초록 (Abstract)

(연구배경 및 목적) 우리나라는 현재 도시화로 인한 개인주의화로 점차 공동체 의식이 감소하고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 배경에서 집합주거단지 외부 공간을 중심으로 공간의 지속적 활용 및 지역 커뮤니티 증대를 위한 주민중심적 커뮤니티 공간의 방향성을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. (연구방법) 연구는 집합주거단지에서의 주민중심적 커뮤니티 공간에 대한 개념을 고찰하고, 우리나라 외부 공간의 현황 및 문제점 분석을 토대로 지역 관찰조사 및 주민 인터뷰를 통해 국내외 사례를 분석하는 순으로 진행되었다. (결과) 본 연구에서 도출된 결론을 바탕으로 제안하고자 하는 주민중심적 커뮤니티 공간의 방향성은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정부의 제공 방식이 아닌 주민의 요구와 필요에 따른 공간을 형성해야 한다. 둘째, 우리나라 집합주거 단지 외부 공간의 특성에 맞는 커뮤니티 공간 형성이 필요하다. 셋째, 커뮤니티 공간의 지속적 활용 및 활성화를 위해 주체, 목적, 방법론에서의 주민중심적 변화가 요구된다. 이러한 방향성은 향후 집합주거단지 외부 공간의 지속적 활용 증대 및 지역 문화를 담는 주민중심형 커뮤니티 공간 형성에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

(Background and purpose) The community spirit in Korea has been decreased by individualism due to urbanization. In this background, this thesis aims at investigating the direction for a resident-centered community space for continuous use of the space and the expansion of local communities by focusing on the outdoor space of a residence complex. (Method) The study examined the concept of a resident-centered community space in a residence complex and analyzed domestic and foreign cases through local survey and interviews based on status and problems of outdoor spaces in Korea. (Result) The direction for the resident-centered community space to be suggested based on the conclusion deducted from this research is as follows. First, the space has to be formed depending on its residents` demand and needs rather than is offered by the government. Second, the community space appropriate for the characteristics of the outdoor space of Korean residence complexes should be formed. Third, for continuous use and vitalization of the community space, the main subjects, goals and methods need to be changed into those centered on its residents. This direction will be able to contribute to the expanded continuous use of the outdoor place of a residence complex and the formation of resident-centered community space reflecting the local culture in the future.
