アジア通商ネットワ一クのダイナミズムと 日中韓の地域協力戰略: 社會ネットワ一ク分析技法を用いて = The Dynamism of Asia Free Trade Network and Regional Cooperation Strategies of Major Countries

アジアにおいては、地域協力ア一キテクチャ一の複雜性が目立っており、これまでの日中に加え、米中による競合はさらなる複雜化の一要因として洞いている. 今後アジア貿易ネットワ一クは、競合する主要國のFTA戰略に結び付きつつ、ダイナミックにその保みを進めていくものと思われる. 本稿では、中心性、構造的ホ一ル、仲介者など社會ネットワ一ク分析の主要指標を用い、アジア通商ネットワ一クおける位置權力の變化とそのプロセスにみられる中堅國が果たし得る仲介者役割の多樣性を分析した. 貿易ネットワ一クでは中堅國の位置權力が發揮される余地は少ないと思われるが、FTAネットワ一クでは戰略的なポジショニングが相對的に重視される. 資源權力が作動する全統的な領域より戰略的選宅が可能な空間で中堅國の位置權力が發揮される余地が大きいからである.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

There are striking characteristics in regional cooperation architecture in Asia. The most important one is about the complexity and institutional layering of regional cooperation architecture. Aside from Rivalry between China and Japan, Sino-American Rivalry surrounding the direction and goals of regional cooperation has made it more complex and dynamic. In this paper, I would like to illuminate structural features of free trade network in Asia being one of the most effective instruments of regional integration by using several social network analysis indexes. The main analytical concepts are centrality, structural hole, and brokerage. This paper also pays attention to theories of positional power that provide the studies of middle power with theoretical resources concerning structural attributes of networks and actor`s brokerage roles given by such structural conditions like Asia FTA network. Through these concepts, this paper analyzed empirically the structural characteristics of Asian free trade network and its implications for regional integration.
