박정근 목사 설교 분석 연구 : 설교 구조와 설교 스타일을 중심으로 = A Study on Pastor Park Jeong-geun's Preaching: Focusing on Preaching Structure and Preaching Style

국문 초록 (Abstract)

침례교에서 전통으로 성경이 가지는 의미는 남달랐다. 한국침례교인들은 성령으로 영감받은 계시에 하나님께서 자신을 드러내는 말씀을 신뢰하는 사람들이었다. 그렇기에 급변하는 시대에도 여전히 성경의 권위가 살아 있음을 전해야 한다. 그러나 한국 침례교 설교자들에게 강해설교가 이미 설교적 정체성이 되어 있음에도 불구하고 한국 설교자들에 대한 연구가 미흡한 것이 현실이다. 이로 인해 박정근의 강해설교에 대한 연구가 이루어지지 않았기에 본고가 박정근의 강해설교에 대한 첫 번째 연구로 의의를 두고 있다.
본 연구는 박정근의 강해설교집 중심으로 살펴보며 강해설교적 특징들을 분석하고자 시도하였다. 박정근의 여러 가지 강해 요소적 요인들은 말씀이 청중에게 강력히 영향을 끼쳐 그들의 삶이 변화되도록 제시하는 것이다. 그러므로 설교의 특징을 구조적으로 분석함을 통해 강해설교의 필요성을 강조하였다.
본 연구의 연구방법은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 박정근의 설교를 면밀히 파악하기 위한 예비 단계를 제시한다. 성경의 이해를 하나님의 말씀으로 예수 그리스도를 드러내야 하는 확신이 필요한 이유를 전개한다. 더불어 강해설교의 특징적인 의미를 설명해 청중과의 연결고리를 맺어야 할 필요성과 그 방법에 대해 제시한다.
둘째, 강해설교의 예시로 박정근의 설교 구조와 설교 스타일을 분석해 나타난 여러 가지 특징을 제안한다. 먼저 박정근의 설교 구조를 통해 드러난 것은 설교 전개 방식에서 특히 연역적 논증을 통해 중심 명제와 핵심 명제를 세우고 강력하게 제시하는 점이다.
다음으로 설교 구성에서 설교의 서두는 하나님의 진리를 소홀하게 설명하지 않으면서 동시에 청주의 관심을 끌어 흥미를 유발함을 관찰하였다. 본론에서 신약성경이 말하는 복음의 핵심으로 예수 그리스도를 강조하였음을 발견했다. 특히 구원자 예수 그리스도가 십자가에서 죽으심, 다시 부활하셔서 마침내 승리하심을 선포하며 그에 관한 구체적인 적용까지 제시했다는 것을 발견하였다.
박정근의 설교 스타일에서 다양하게 사용한 예화의 유형을 구체적으로 분석하였다. 대지를 설명할 때 본문이 풍성해지도록 사용한 예화 형태를 분석하고 예화가 설교 본문과 청중과의 연결고리를 만드는 것임을 제시한다. 예화를 적절하게 사용해 성경의 세계와 청중의 세계를 연결함으로써 청중에게보다 친근하면서 효과적인 성경의 의미를 전하였음을 확인했다.
또, 박정근의 설교 언어는 청중이 사용하는 일상적이고 단순한 말로 성경의 의미를 간결하게 표현하는 점을 관찰하고 박정근의 강해설교 예문을 통해 설명했다. 청중의 마음에 다가가도록 호소력 있는 언어를 사용하여 설교 메시지가 청중의 삶에서까지 영향을 미치도록 한 내용을 살펴보고 이를 여러 예문을 통해 분석하였다.
마지막으로 설교 본문을 설명할 때 감각적인 이미지를 사용해 청중의 눈과 귀를 자극하고 성경의 세계를 직접 상상해 그려보도록 묘사한 것을 살펴볼 수 있다. 특히 생생하고 역동적인 이미지로 마치 성경 본문이 지금도 살아 움직이는 것처럼 표현하여 청중이 성경의 시대를 체험할 수 있도록 전개한 것을 제시하였다.
따라서 본 연구는 박정근 목사의 강해집을 중심으로 박정근의 설교 구조와 설교 스타일을 설교학적으로 분석하고 평가함으로 한국 교회 설교자들에게 성경 본문 중심 강해설교의 필요성과 실제적인 기술을 제시하는데 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In the Baptist tradition, the Bible has a special position. Korean baptists trust in the Word of God in which God reveals Himself through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. That is why we, as preachers, have to keep testifying that our authority relies on the Bible. Even though for Korean preachers, expository preaching makes up most of their identities as preachers, there have not been enough researches on any Korean preachers including Reverend Park, Jung Geun.
This study focuses on the characteristics of the expository preaching of Reverend Park Jung Geun. There are many peculiarities in his expository preaching in which he tried to let the word of God affect and change the lives of listeners. Therefore, this study emphasizes the necessity of expository sermons by systemically analyzing his preaching.
The methods used in this study are as the following. First, preparatory stages are presented before the detailed analysis. There are reasons why one should understand the Bible as the word of God in which Jesus Christ is revealed. In addition, the semantics on the expository preaching provides the necessity and the method for connections with the audience.
Second, the structure and style of the preaching of Reverend Park Jung Geun is illustrated to suggest its characteristics. The first characteristic is that the central and core theses are strongly presented first, especially in deductive arguments. Then, with careful attention to the Word of God, he induces the attention of the audience. The main body of the sermon emphasizes Jesus Christ as the core of the gospel in the New Testament. Reverend Park is not only proclaiming the death on the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the final triumph but also suggesting specific applications in daily lives of the listeners.
In terms of style of Reverend Park’s preaching, fables he used are analyzed in detail. When he explains the plot of the text, he uses fables to help audience understand better. By analyzing the forms of the fables, it is found that the fables make the connection between the text and the audience stronger. A suitable fable helps the audience better understand the world of the Bible by providing a model in the world they are living in, resulting in a more effective delivery.
The terminology Reverend Park used in his expository preaching consists of simple and daily words that audience are familiar with. His appealing word usage touches audience’s minds so much that it affects their lives as well.
Lastly, when Reverend Park explains the text, he used sensory images to stimulate audience’s senses and lets them illustrate the biblical world for themselves in their minds. The vivid and dynamic images are particularly used to bring the texts to life and let audience feel like they are actually in the text.
Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze and criticize the structure and style of the expository preaching of Reverend Park Jung Geun in homiletic methods. For Korean preachers, this suggests the necessity and the practical preaching skills of the text-centered expository preaching.
