The purpose of the study is to examine the mediating effects of career-decision making self-efficacy between parental autonomy support, teacher autonomy support, and career preparation behavior perceived by high school students. 210 high school students in Busan were surveyed using the Parental Autonomy Support Scale, Teacher Autonomy Support Scale, Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale, and Career Preparation Behavior Scale. Correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationships among variables. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis was conducted to test the mediating effects of career-decision making self-efficacy. In conclusion from the results and discussions, there are positive correlations among parental autonomy support, teacher autonomy support, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career preparation behavior of high school students. Career decision-making self-efficacy operated as a mediating factor between the parental autonomy support, teacher autonomy support, and career preparation behavior. These results suggest the importance of psychological intervention to improve career-decision making self-efficacy and parental autonomy support, teacher autonomy support for career preparation behavior of high school students.
