군사사상 차원의 북한 사이버전 의미와 위협 분석- 북한의 ‘주체군사사상’과 사이버전을 중심으로 - = Analysis of the meaning and threat of North Korea's cyber warfare in terms of military ideology- Focusing on North Korea's “Juche Military Ideology” and cyber warfare -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper analyzes the reality and threat of North Korea's cyber warfare based on their military ideology, the Juche Military Ideology. The leaders of North Korea have shared their perception of the importance of cyber warfare and have developed cyber warfare capabilities through generations. In particular, they paid attention to the world's best cyber attack power and the world's best digital environment of South Korean society and the South Korean military. In addition, the characteristics of cyberspace, which guarantees low cost and high efficiency and is absolutely advantageous to them as an invisible area, have become an attractive space and means. Therefore, the top leaders of North Korea used cyber attack power as one of the three key forces of revolutionary war and revolutionary maneuvering along with nuclear and missile to select the gifted as cyber revolutionary fighters, while developing them into the world's strongest by integrating the cyber warfare implementation system. This cultivated cyber attack power is used in combination with nuclear weapons and missiles, which are key forces in revolutionary wars in physical space and revolutionary operations in cyberspace. In particular, the intensively developed cyber psychological warfare has formed a 'broad pro-North Korea and opposition Republic of Korea unified front' in our society, destroying the foundation of the state and the free democracy system.
