The study examined major changes in the newly applied 2022revised Korean language curriculum to investigate and analyzeteachers’ perceptions of expected difficulties and support requirementsin the educational field. First, the 2022 revised Korean languagecurriculum was compared and analyzed with the 2015 revised Koreanlanguage curriculum. At this time, the analysis of major changes in thecommon school-level “design of the curriculum, “character and goal,”“content system,” and “teaching and learning method and evaluation”was presented, and then the “achievement standard” was analyzed andpresented focusing on the elementary school level. Based on theanalysis results, a survey was conducted on the expected difficultiesand support requirements in the school field, with 400 schools and 386teachers who responded. This study is expected to contribute to thestable establishment of a new curriculum in the educational fieldduring the curriculum revision period by identifying the expected issueswhen applying the 2022 revised curriculum and specifying thenecessary support.
