감사의 조절변인에 관한 고찰 = A study on the moderating variables of gratitude

국문 초록 (Abstract)

아동과 청소년의 발달 과정에서 어떤 경로를 통해 감사가 발달하는지, 도덕적 정서로서의 감사 발달의 촉진 요인과 저해 요인은 무엇인지, 그리고 어떤 교육적 개입을 통해 감사의 경험과 표현을 촉진할 수 있는지에 관한 연구 결과는 아직 매우 미진한 편이다. 이 논문에서는 감사의 조절변인, 즉 감사의 촉진 요인과 억제 요인을 규명하고, 그것이 도덕교육에 주는 시사점을 분석하였다. 안전한 애착, 생활 사건과 시간 관점, 정서 지능, 이득 평가 훈련은 감사의 발달을 촉진한다. 나르시시즘, 냉소와 신뢰 부족, 물질주의와 질투, 부채감은 감사의 발달을 억제한다. 감사의 촉진 요인과 억제 요인은 우리가 감사의 도덕적 가치, 감사를 가르치는 이유, 감사 성향을 발달시키는 교수·학습 방법을 모색하는 데 많은 시사점을 제공한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The results of research on how gratitude develops in the course of development of children and adolescents, what factors facilitate and inhibit the development of gratitude as a moral emotion, and what educational interventions can facilitate the experience and expression of gratitude are still very poor. In this paper, we identified the moderating variables of gratitude, i.e., the factors that facilitate and inhibit gratitude, and analyzed the implications of it for moral education. Secure attachment, life events and time perspective, emotional intelligence and benefit appraisal training facilitate the development of gratitude. Narcissism, cynicism and lack of trust, materialism and jealousy, and indebtedness inhibit the development of gratitude. Facilitating and inhibiting factors of gratitude provide many implications for us to explore the moral value of gratitude, the reasons why we should teach gratitude in moral education, and the methods of teaching & learning to develop the dispositions of gratitude in schools.
