      The most important thing in the bookkeeping is the exact analysis and input of data, and this can create the valuable bookkeeping information. This depends upon understanding exactly all kinds of books and financial statements based upon the standard of business bookkeeping, account and account treatment. In this respect, it is very important and urgent that the subsidiary studying materials for self-study by level of the student according to the degree of his recognition must be developed and used. That's why CAI(Computer Assisted Instructions) was developed.
      However, the existing CAI program makes the title by using the programming language such as BASIC, COBOL, C-language, Visual Basic, and Visual C++language. In case of the programming language, it takes much time and efforts for the student to learn the technical details, and in addition, an ordinary teacher, not a professional programmer, has a difficulty and a limit of producing CAI program.
      On the other hand, developing CAI with using authoring system is the program which can produce the applied program to Windows 95, and the tool which can be used most efficietly be those who engage in the actual education.
      The researchers developed the CAI program for teaching and learning bookkeeping which presents the detailed interpretation which has a function of interaction between computer and the learner, because the learner can find out the materials for study suitable for his or her knowledge and study alone by using the program.
      After classifying the student into two groups, the control group and the experimental group, who are the girls in commerce high school. After treatement, the reseach result presents the sigificant difference between the groups. It is shown that the CAI program for bookkeeping with authoring wywtem makes an effect on the learning performance in the school.
      In conclusion, this program raise adaptability and efficiency of handing bookkeeping and its computerization by developing the learning materials and using them with authoring system and furthermore, the program helps the efficient management and access of bookkeepting program.
