더 좋은 학습경험을 위한 배움의 의미 탐구 : 마루반 교사와 어린이들의 만남을 중심으로 = A study on the Meaning of Learning for a Better Learning Experience: Focusing on Class of Maru teachers and children s Encounter

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 만 5세 마루반의 박 교사와 어린이들의 만남을 따라가며 더 좋은 학습경험을 위한 배움에 대한 의미를 찾아가는 것이다. 더 좋은 학습경험이란, 교사가 ‘어린이를 어떠한 존재로 바라보고 있는가?’에 대한 관점에 대한 끈기 있는 점검과 고민을 통해 지식을 교사의 소유가 아닌 함께 만들어가는 것으로 바라보며 배움의 공동체를 형성해가는 것이었다. 연구결과에서 드러난 주요한 의미를 요약해보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 박 교사의 수업에 대한 고민과 노력은 더 좋은 학습경험을 위한 거름이 되었다. 둘째, 박 교사의 판단 유보로 어린이들은 배움의 즐거움의 경험을 가질 수 있었다. 셋째, 박 교사의 교육학적 사려 깊음은 어린이들로 하여금 더 좋은 학습경험으로 이끄는 시작이 되었다. 넷째, 어린이들의 들숨과 날숨이 존재하는 배움은 더 좋은 학습경험으로 연결되었다. 다섯째, 교사와 어린이들의 상호교감 속에서 발생하는 오케스트레이팅은 삶에서 진한 울림으로 실현되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the learning of teacher Park and of the students in her class Maru in an effort to shed light on the meaning of enjoyable learning. Teacher Park viewed the children as competent and tried to construct knowledge with them. Enjoyable learning took place among the children when the teacher enjoyed teaching instead of merely focusing on teaching itself. The findings of the study on the major meaning of enjoyable learning were as follows: First, the children enjoyed learning thanks to the careful consideration of the teacher. Second, enjoyable learning was more facilitated as the children shared their lives with one another in the classroom. Third, the children s true nature that were awakened through learning served to strengthen enjoyable learning between themselves and the teacher. Fourth, dynamic interaction between the teacher and the children that led to powerful chemical reaction became the source of energy for enjoyable learning. Fifth, the teacher and the children communed with each other through learning, and orchestrating took place through their communion, which had a strong impact on their lives.
