The purpose of this study is to report which of three major factors, i.e transformational leadership, transactional leadership and followership may have influence on Crew Resource Management(CRM) based on Human Factor in terms of aviation safety management methods. Subfactors of transformational leadership comprise charisma, individualized consideration and intellectual stimulation, while transactional leadership consists of contingent rewards. The followership is divided into two types, i.e. proactiveness and independence. There are two dependent variables such as teamwork and problem solving. Teamwork factor is made up of open feedback related to CRM teamwork, fluent information sharing in preflight, effective communications on the flight, role sharing, work awareness and responsibility. For the factors related to problem solving, there are risk prediction workshop or information sharing, problem solving through effective communications, role sharing, and cross-check, and proactive activities in preparation. As a result, it has been found that contingent reward as a subfactor of transactional leadership had significant effects upon nine factors of CRM, except problem solving with information sharing and proactive activities in preparation. This study finds somewhat different results from the previous studies in possible effects of transformational leadership on followers, but it is congruent with them in terms of the fact that charisma and intellectual stimulation have effects on followership.Based on these findings, it is advisable that leaders exert their leadership effectively in performing aviation using transactional rewards and transformational charisma in order to facilitate CRM, contributing to aviation safety.
