The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of the swimming exercise on the variation of pulmonary function and blood pressure. In this research, we made a experiment on 12 chosen female bet the age of 30 years and 59 years as to the effect of swimming exercise. we examined and analyzed the variations of pulmonary function of 12 females before to after three times swimming exercises for 8 weeks.
we draw conclusions as follows.
1. After swimming exercise for 8 weeks, FEV and IRV among the variations of pulmonary function were increased. However, there were no similar differences to statistics.
2. After swimming exercises for 8 weeks, FVC(p<.01), VC(p<.001), and ERV(p<.05) among the variations of pulmonary function were increased. And, those showed similar differences respectively.
In conclusion, we couldn't show that swimming exercises was effective in improving the pulmonary function and blood pressure. Therefore, in the future, we should investigate efficient swimming programs profoundly.
