환경영향평가제도의 현실적합성 분석 = Actual Factors Influencing EIA System's Validity

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper is to analyze the actual factors of EIA system by adopting regression and frequency analysis. SPSS 7.5 for Windows is used in this paper as an analytical tool.
The regression analysis shows that the actual factors influencing EIA system depend on following three variables; first, whether the member of evaluation committee reviews the EIA properly or not, second, whether the content of EIA is quantified or not, third, whether the attitude toward environment due to the EIA is changed or not.
These three variables are significant statistically and have 87.2% of explanation. First Independent variable, whether the member of evaluation committee reviews the EIA properly or not, is influenced by two sub-variables, that is, whether the content of negotiation of EIA is delivered to the resident property or not and whether the EIA reduces the pollution or not.
Second independent variable, whether the content of EIA is quantified or not, is influenced by two sub-variables, that is, whether the EIA is based upon scientific technique or not and whether the content of EIA is accurate or not. Third independent variable, whether the attitude toward environment due to the EIA is changed or not, is influenced by one sub-variable, that is, whether the EIA is understandable or not.
This study suggests that environmental impact statement is gotten a thorough going over than now, and an item on the agenda of EIS is given to residents linked together development work. In addition, the contents of EIS is drawn up more easily.
