The purpose of this study is to systematic review the effects of core exercise through Pilates on adults. Ten studies were finally selected. As for the quality level, there were 6 studies corresponding to level II, the highest number of studies. Looking at the general characteristics of the study, it was published from 2010 to 2021. The largest number of studies were women, with 8 studies. The intervention period was 8 weeks in 4 studies. It was applied 3 times a week in 7 studies. The intervention time was 60 minutes, with 6 studies being the most. Of the 10 studies, 8 studies used group interventions. Through the 10 studies analyzed, core exercise using Pilates is positive not only for physical functions such as body mobility, balance, posture change, body composition, physical strength, and muscle activation, but also for internal changes along with mental changes. In the future, research that can increase the effectiveness of core exercise through Pilates through high-quality research design is needed. In addition, research on various age groups and genders and efforts to generalize the intervention effect through standardized intervention methods are needed.
