It is not easy that a number of materials of place names are turned into educational ones for localizing.
First of all, we need to survey the place names for educational materials, to get assistance from specialists in the related literature and to perform a long-term study.
Thus the purpose of this study is to suggest the research methodology of Gyeongsangnam-do place names as educational materials through 3-year-research of a learning system including derived tales and geography.
In order to accomplish this end, the former study performed by three researchers whose majors were Korean linguistics, tradition literature and geography is analyzed, the significance of this research is expressed and the annual research plan is suggested.
The result of this research can be used to correct the errors of the place names and to find teaching ways in Korean language class and so on.
Through supplying CD and DVD materials manufactured based on this research for elementary schools, Gyeongsangnam-do place names can be shared.
