유아의 정서,행동 유능성 척도(Preschool Behavioral and Emotional Rating Scale: PreBERS)의 타당화 기초연구 = A preliminary study for validation of the Preschool Behavioral andEmotional Rating Scale with Korean preschool children

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아의 강점 측정의 중요성을 공감한 학자들이 개발하고 표준화한 유아의 정서,행동 유능성 척도(Preschool Behavioral and Emotional Rating Scale, PreBERS)를 우리나라 유아에게 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 탐색하기 위한 기초연구의 단계로서 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하였다, 이를 위해 서울과 경기 지역의 유치원과 어린이집에 재원하는 유아 481명을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다, 연구결과 첫째, 유아의 정서,행동 유능성 척도(PreBERS)의 검사양호도를 살펴보기 위해 신뢰도를 분석한 결과, 내적합치도는 학습준비도 요인이 ,94, 정서조절 요인이 ,91, 가족참여 요인이 ,94, 사회적 자신감 요인은 ,89이었고 전체 검사의 내적 합치도는 ,96으로 나타났다, 둘째, PreBERS를 탐색적 요인분석한 결과, 원 척도의 하위요인과 유사한 구조로 4개의 하위요인인 학습준비도, 정서조절, 가족참여 및 사회적 자신감의 요인으로 구성되었음을 확인하였다, 또한 PreBERS의 요인분석 구조가 우리나라에서도 동일하게 나타나는지 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 모형이 적합한 요인구조를 갖고 있음을 확인하였다, 셋째, PreBERS의 하위요인과 총점간의 상관관계 및 사회적 유능성 척도와의 상관분석을 통해 내적타당도 및 공인타당도가 검증되었다, 마지막으로 본 연구결과를 토대로 PreBERS의 우리나라 유아 대상의 적용 가능성과 제한점을 논의하였다,

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to test the reliability and validity of the Preschool Behavioral and Emotional Rating Scale with Korean preschool children. The Preschool Behavioral and Emotional Rating Scale and the measure of Social Competence and Behavior Evaluation were administered to the teachers of 481 preschool children from 3 to 5 years of age. The reliability was tested through internal consistency. For validity test, factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted as well as correlation analysis with the measure of Social Competence and Behavior Evaluation. Results of reliability analysis showed that high level of internal consistency(.89 to 95) in four subscale of K-PreBERS. Results of factor analysis and confirmatory factorial analysis indicated that the similar factor structures exist in both PreBERS and K-PreBERS. The K-PreBERS resulted in 37 items of four subscale: School Readiness, Emotional Regulation, Family Involvement, Social Confidence. The results of construct validity analysis showed four subscale of K-PreBERS were significantly correlated and K-PreBERS was significantly correlated with the measure of Social Competence and Behavior Evaluation. Lastly, this study discussed the implications of using the K-PreBERS and the limitations of this preliminary validation study.
