드론 촬영의 GPS 좌표 정보만을 활용한 자동 균열폭 측정 방법 = Enhanced Crack Width Measurement Using GPS Coordinates From Drone Filming

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 드론을 활용한 영상 기반 균열폭 측정 방법을 연구하였다. 영상에서 균열폭의 경계 픽셀 추출 시 정밀도를 높이기 위해 그래디언트 변이 벡터 방식으로 서브 픽셀 단위까지 추출하였고, 사진측량의 원리인 공선 조건식을 이용하여 균열의 경계 서브 픽셀을 3차원 지상 좌표로 변환하여 균열폭을 측정하였다. 가상의 균열을 12가지 폭으로 그려서 인쇄하고 벽면에 부착하여 실험하였다. 현장 적용을 위해 실제 균열이 있는 벽면을 촬영하고 균열폭을 측정하였다. 거리에 따른 정밀도 비교를 위해 4가지 거리에 대해 측정하였다. 가상 균열 실험에서 균열폭이 작을수록, 촬영 거리가 멀어질수록 측정 오차가 증가하였다. 실제 균열 실험에서는 가상 균열에 비해 일관적인 경향은 나타내지 않았고 편차가 작으나 오차는 대체적으로 유사하게 나타났다.

In this study, concrete crack widths were quantified by converting boundary sub-pixels, which were calculated using the Gradient VariationVector, into 3D ground coordinates following photogrammetry principles. A series of experiments was conducted to validate the proposedmethod. Initially, twelve virtual cracks of different widths were affixed to a wall, and image-based measurements were conducted.
Additionally, field tests entailed capturing images of real cracks on structural surfaces and measuring crack widths at four specified distancesfor precision assessment. The results revealed distinct patterns. In the virtual crack experiment, a noticeable trend emerged: as crack widthdecreased and imaging distance increased, measurement errors tended to increase. Conversely, in the actual crack experiment, a consistenttrend in measurement accuracy was absent when compared to the virtual crack scenarios.
