儒家의 大學의 理念에 관한 小考 = A Study on the University of Confucianism's Ideology

In this thesis, I mainly organized the development process of ancient Chinese universities. From the time of‘堯舜’to the ‘淸’Dynasty, universities have fostered many leaders and officials as centers of higher education. The core content of learning in college was morality and self-discipline. Based on it, college students learned practical studies such as medicine and science.
Traditional Chinese universities have changed their names. For example, '太學' '國子學' '國子監' etc. These institutions were all government-led training centers.College students, of course, went to college to get ahead, but the university's ideology has always been in '修己治人'. Therefore, university students sometimes criticized policies and sometimes took the lead in extradition activities.
Today's universities are putting too much emphasis on practicality, but they are losing their fundamental ideas. Through this paper, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the basic ideology of today's universities.
