The purpose of the study was to understand exercise maladjusted pre-service elementary
school teacher’s problemsolving process for exercise adjustment. This study selected
research participant who was not familiar with exercise when the participant entered
teachers' college. The participant had not enough opportunities for exercise when the
participant was young. Although the participant was good at major courses as well as
jump rope based on improved physical fitness, one thing negative was the participant’s
height short. Further, the participant experienced diverse sports in the period of middle
school and felt confident, however, the participant motor ability was a little bit poor for
ball-based sports. Meanwhile, the participant met a creditable physical education(PE)
teacher in the period of high school and had a confidence. In the mean time, the participant
jumped in diverse sports and joined in soccer club to be a good PE teacher. The
participant’s physical fitness and capability for ball-based sports was improved as well as
the participant’s sense of responsibility, patience, and team spirit through hard training. The
participant was socialized due to participation in various tournament games as a manager
and realized dedicated team values. One of the most important things in the good PE class,
PE thachers may make an effort that students can have a positive thought for PE.
Moreover, PE thachers may employ appropriate teaching method for students with low
motor ability to give positive feedbacks so students can have a sense of accomplishment
and confidence.
