Comparative study of sustainable urban development measurement systems : case study Villa Nueva, Guatemala

국문 초록 (Abstract)

라틴 아메리카의 도시들, 특히 빌라 누에바 시의 경우, 모두 지속가능성 범위를 정하기 위해 다양한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 도시는 이러한 범위를 정하기 위해서는 집중해야 하는 요소 또는 기준을 인식, 파악, 분석해야 한다. 그런 요소를 파악하기 위해 도시는 영토 진단을 해야 하며, 이러한 진단은 향후 계획 프로세스, 공공 정책 추진, 프로젝트 추진을 위한 의사 결정의 기초가 된다.
영토진단은 도시의 지속가능성 요인을 측정한 결과이다. 이러한 요소를 지표라고 할 수 있다. 각 국가 또는 도시는 이러한 진단 또는 측정을 생성하기 위해 서로 다른 지표시스템을 적용하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 일부 지표체계에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 분석된 시스템의 지표 통합에 대한 제안은 비교 분석을 통해 개발하였다. 새로운 지표 세트 또는 시스템을 적용하면, 정보 부족 또는 성장과정이나 도시의 지속가능성 범위에 대한 지표를 나타낼 수 있는 중요도를 기반으로 빌라 누에바 지자체가 더 많은 노력을 기울여야 하는 영역을 알 수 있다.

The cities of Latin America and specifically in the case of the municipality of Villa Nueva, all generate various efforts in the scope of sustainability, to achieve that scope cities need to recognize, understand and analyze what are those factors or criteria to which they should be focused to achieve such sustainability, to achieve that understanding cities are in need of generating territorial diagnoses and these diagnoses become the Based on decision-making for future planning processes, promoting public policies and promoting projects.
The territorial diagnoses are the result of measuring the sustainability factors of a city, these factors can be called indicators, each country or city applies different systems of indicators to generate these diagnoses or measurements, in this study an analysis of some indicator systems is carried out and through a comparative analysis a proposal for integration of indicators of the analyzed systems is generated, The application of the new set or system of indicators allows us to observe which are those areas that the municipality of Villa Nueva needs to focus more effort, either due to lack of information or the importance that could represent an indicator for its growth processes and scope of urban sustainability.
