서양의 배려윤리 비평과 해월의 삼경사상에 대한 교육사상적 조망

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Western care ethics has been focused on moral education for relationship recovery. The concept of care ethics of Noddings and Schweitzer is suggested and moral characteristics and substance are contemplated. Western care ethics is presented by suggesting the contents of moral education in Korea, but it is not activating efficiently. Haewol Choi Si-hyung(1827~1898), one of the prominent leaders of the Donghak(東學), proposed the thought of ‘Honoring the Three(三敬)’ in the most practical form. He said, “Those who are training the Thao(道) must adore the Heaven(敬天), and love the man(敬人) and care the Earth(敬物).” The purpose of this study is to prospect the feasibility to solve modern social problems by applying the thought of ‘Honoring the Three’ to education. First, ‘Adore the Heaven’ is related to Peace, Unification education trends based on ‘KiUm’(means nurturing). Second, ‘Love the man’ is related to Community based on ‘SeomKim’(means serving), Equalitarian, World citizenship education trends. Third, ‘Care the Earth’ is related to Environment, Ecology education trends based on ‘DolBom’(means caring). In conclusion, Haewol’s the thought of ‘Honoring the Three’ is good pathway to solve the problems of our education and society.
